Record breaking Poppy Appeal

LYMM & District Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal collection for 2010/11 raised a record breaking £14,892.07 while more than £1M was raised in the Cheshire area for the very first time.
Now the group would like to hear from anyone willing or interested in helping with the 2011/2012 Poppy Appeal Fundraising.

Meanwhile The Lymm & District Royal British Legion Branch will be holding their 90th A.G.M. on Thursday November 3 at The Boat Stage (RBLHQ) 1, Legh Street, Lymm at 8.00pm. Members and friends are very welcome to attend.
Then on Friday November 11 they will be remembering Armistice Day at Lymm Cross at 11.00a.m.
Remembrance Sunday Civic Parade and Service will take place on Sunday November 13.
Please assemble Davies Way Car Park for a prompt start 9.30a.m to St Mary’s Church, Lymm for the Service 10.00 am.
Local groups and organisations are very welcome to join the Parade and Remembrance Service.
