Firefighters called to chip pan fire at commercial premises

TWO fire crews were called out to reports of a kitchen fire at commercial premises at Lymm last night, Friday.

At 18:43 crews from Lymm and Greater Manchester were called to reports of a fire in a kitchen at commercial premises on Higher Lane.

Crews found that there had been a fire in a chip pan which was already out when firefighters arrived, however as a precaution, they checked the premises’ extractor system using a thermal imaging camera.

There were no reports of any injuries.
