Less than a week to enter Christmas card design competition

1

THERE is now less than a week left for primary school children in Warrington to submit their designs for Police and Crime Commissioner John Dwyer’s Christmas card design competition.

Primary school children up to the age of 11 can submit an original design for the Commissioner to consider.
Entries can be submitted as a drawing, painting, or photograph; they must be Christmas themed, of A5 size (portrait or landscape orientation) and can be in colour or black and white.
Mr Dwyer said: “Sending a Christmas card that features a design from a local youngster is a lovely way to spread festive cheer to people, and I’m looking forward to sprinkling a little bit of Christmas magic this year.
“I’ve already received some lovely designs. The thought and effort that has gone into them should be commended. Thank you for taking the time to enter. If you still want to enter, and want to be in the prize draw it isn’t too late.”

Separate competitions are being held for other parts of Cheshire.
How to send in your designs
All entrants should include their name, age, contact number (of a parent/guardian or school) and include the name and address of their school on the reverse of their design. Please do not include this as part of the design itself.
You can send in your designs via post to:Jen Seed, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Clemonds Hey, Oakmere Road, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 2UA
Or via email: [email protected] with the subject ‘Christmas Card Competition’.
Designs need to be received by this Sunday, November 5.
