HOMEOWNERS at The Limes – the McCarthy and Stone retirement development at Lymm – raised £538.69 with a Macmillan Coffee morning.

A number of Lymm residents joined the homeowners for the event.

Tea and coffee were served together with home-made cakes and other goodies.
A popular attraction was a collection of hand-made dolls made by homeowner Louise Eaton.
They were snapped up by people looking for early Christmas presents.
The event was organised by a team of homeowners including Sally Cross , Sandra Cotterill and daughter Claire, Pam Hilton, Anne Shadbolt, Karen Slater and Elaine Leytham, working with house manager Helen Mathie.
A number of donations were also received.
Macmillan Coffee Mornings are held all over the country and claim to be the biggest coffee morning in the world.
They have raised more than £310 million for Macmillan Cancer Support since they started in 1990.
