Rugby ace killed in car crash

THE motorist who was killed when his

car left the road and hit a tree during the early hours of Sunday

morning in Warrington has been named as Swinton Lions prop forward Dana Wilson.
Police, who suspect the 28-year-old New Zealand born father of three may have been drink driving after celebrating his team winning the league title, are appealing for witnesses following the accident.
Mr Wilson died when a silver Fiat Punto travelling along Lumber Lane, Warrington towards Burtonwood left the road near to the junction with Forshaw Lane and collided with a tree at around 3.30am. He was not discovered until
There was nobody else involved in the collision.
