AFTER returning to lead his troops to victory over Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves’ captain fantasticAdrian Morley is set to miss Friday’s title show down at Hull, as he undergoes surgery on the damaged muscle around his eye which has been causing blurred vision.
But Head of Coaching Tony Smith is confident Morley will be back in action for the play-offs and the club’s bid to reach the Grand Final at Old Trafford for the first time.
After heaping praise on his skipper’s outstanding comeback during the victory of Wigan Warriors, following a lengthy lay off since being injured during the victory over St Helens in June, Smith revealed Morley will be undergoing “minor surgery” tomorrow.
“This operation will finally solve his problem,” said Smith. “We have finally got a good answer to the problem as we were really worried it was going to be a longer issue.
“He will under go minor surgery tomorrow and he is almost certain to be back after a couple of weeks rest. “
