THE Tavern pub on Church Street has been presented with a special award to mark a magnificent achievement of obtaining an entry in The CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 25 consecutive years.

The Tavern has been run by the Wilkinson family continuously for this period and has always maintained high standards in the quality and variety of its cask ale offering as well as a wide range of other beverages to suit the discerning drinker.
North Cheshire CAMRA Branch was pleased to be able to recognise The Tavern with this award for maintaining high standards over such a long period of time.
Matt Wilkinson landlord at The Tavern is confident that he can continue to offer a wide range of quality real ales for many years to come and would welcome everyone to come and try a selection of the eight ales usually available on handpump.
