Male who was abusive to bank staff arrested

A male was arrested in Warrington town centre after being abusive to staff at Lloyds Bank.

Officers out on patrol in the Old Market placewere approached by staff and customers at the bank who had just had a male in branch being abusive to staff.

The male was pointed out to police who went to speak with him. He was wanted already so was taken into custody.

Police say abuse of shop and customer service staff will not be tolerated.
