TEAMSPORT, the leading name in indoor karting, has reopened their flagship track in Warrington after undergoing a complete transformation.

Situated at the heart of Warrington, the TeamSport Indoor Go Karting track based on the Bank Quay Trading Estate, Slutchers Lane, WA1 1PJ opened to racers and enthusiasts on Monday, October 16.

Not only has this track undergone a complete transformation, but it will also be the proud host of the prestigious British Indoor Go Karting Championships finals in November. This revitalized facility is poised to set new standards in the world of go-karting, all while embracing a more sustainable and thrilling future with electric karts.
One of the standout features of the transformed facility is the transition from traditional petrol-powered go-karts to cutting-edge electric karts. This transition aligns perfectly with TeamSport’s commitment to environmental sustainability, enhancing the overall safety measures for racers and providing an electrifying atmosphere for everyone involved.

One of the most exciting aspects of this electrifying transformation is the introduction of the “Awesome Boost Button,” a game-changing innovation akin to the DRS system in Formula 1. This Boost Button will provide drivers with an additional tool in their arsenal, enabling them to gain the edge over their fellow racers and adding a new layer of strategy to the races.
The Warrington flagship track, measuring a staggering 1000 meters in length, stands as TeamSport’s longest track to date. It features an array of challenging bends and corners that will push drivers to their limits. For the ultimate thrill, the track even boasts a Monaco-style tunnel, adding an extra layer of excitement and anticipation for participants and spectators alike.
As the home of the British Indoor Go Karting Championships finals on November 11th and 12th, TeamSport Warrington will be bringing hundreds of racers, enthusiasts, and supporters to Warrington, creating a weekend of high-octane action and memorable moments. The finals promise to be a showcase of the best karting talent in the country, and Warrington is excited to be at the centre of it all.
TeamSport is excited to be at the forefront of the go-karting revolution by embracing electric power. This transition represents the company’s dedication to environmental sustainability, gamification of karting, enhanced safety measures, and the creation of a more thrilling atmosphere for all participants and spectators. TeamSport is proud to lead the charge towards a more sustainable and electrifying future for indoor go-karting.
