Three fire crews tackle air conditioning blaze at commercial premises

THREE fire crews were called out this morning to tackle a blaze involving an air conditioning unit at commercial premises in Birchwood, Warrington.

At 07:30, crews from Birchwood, Warrington and Lymm were called to commercial premises on Faraday Street.

Firefighters attended a report of a fire and crews used two breathing apparatus and an extended hose reel to put out the fire, which involved an air conditioning unit. The area surrounding the fire was then checked with a thermal imaging camera to ensure the fire had not spread.
