FIRST launched in Lymm, the team at Kids Planet Day Nurseries were thrilled to celebrate reaching the company’s 15th-anniversary milestone recently, at the Jolly Thresher Tipi in Lymm.
Since CEO Clare Roberts set up the company alongside her father in 2008, Kids Planet has grown to over 160 nurseries, responsible for the care of over 20,000 children across the UK. Kids Planet still maintains its original family ethos and children remain the priority.
Clare Roberts, CEO at Kids Planet Day Nurseries, said:“When I set up the company, it was all about finding high-quality childcare and supporting the families of the team that worked for us, and apart from our growth, not a lot else has changed! For me personally, I’ve got more children and my children are older. My oldest daughter was nine months old on the day Kids Planet was founded, and she is now 16 – so that’s a little scary! It has been fantastic to see how people have progressed within the company over the years. 15 years is a fantastic achievement and I just want to thank all the hard-working team members within Kids Planet, as without them none of this would be possible.”
