POLICE have issued CCTV images of two women they would like to speak to following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Iceland store in Warrington.

The women are alleged to have been involved in an incident at the Iceland store on Bankside in Warrington Town Centre at approximately 1600 hours on Friday 25th August 2023.
It is alleged one of them has filled a bag with items before making off without paying and another has become abusive to staff when they have tried to do something about it.

A Warrington Police spokesperson said: “Retail staff are not expected to come to work just to be subject to verbal abuse for simply doing their job. We on the Town Centre Beat Team will pursue lines of enquiry to identify and deal with those responsible.”
