THE indoor bowling club at Culcheth Sports Club – the former Daten Club in Charnock Road – is on the lookout for new members.
Tuesday, October 4 sees the start of the winter season and the club meets every Tuesday.
Currently it has about 24 members, but a couple of years ago it had more than 60 members and the committee are anxious to try and increase membership back to that sort of level.
The sport provides gentle exercise during the winter months.
