Boy, 17, sustains possible life changing injuries after serious collision on Loushers Lane

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a 17-year-old boy received possible life-changing injuries following a serious collision on Loushers Lane earlier today, Monday.

The incident took place shortly before 9 am near the junction with Common Lane involving a collision involving a 17-year-old male pedestrian and a car.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 8.54 am on Monday 18 September police were called to reports of a serious collision on Loushers Lane, near to Common Lane, Warrington.

Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a car, a red Toyota Aygo, and a pedestrian, a 17-year-old boy.

The pedestrian is believed to have sustained possible life-changing injuries and was taken to Aintree Hospital.
No arrests were made and the scene was cleared by 10.40 am.
