The men, aged 22 and 23, both from Warrington were arrested following the fires in Lovely Lane, Bewsey Road and Haryngton Avenue.
Two people had to be rescued from a second floor window in the most serious incident, involving a golf shop and bar in Lovely Lane. People were evacuated from their homes when another fire started nearby.
The two men were arrested shortly afterwards and helped police with their enquiries throughout yesterday, before being bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are continuing to appeal to the community to come forward with any information they have, which could assist the investigation, or to anyone out and about in Bewsey around the time of the incidents, who may have seen anything of relevance, to make contact with them.
Anyone who can help police should contact Warrington CID on 0845 458 0000 or call Crimestoppers where messages can be left anonymously on 0800 555 111.
