A FAMILY Fun Day as part of the summer “Central Park” event in Golden Square, Warrington, raised £400 for St Rocco’s Hospice.
The event, in the Old Market Place, featured fun activities including Hook-a-Duck and face painting.
Malcolm Kindon, hospice community fundraiser, said: “Our family fun day was great fun and we’d like to thank everyone that turned out to help make this such a success including our staff members and all the volunteers.”
Centre marketing manager Ian Cox said: “The show of support for St Rocco’s Hospice with the number of families that came to take part in the fun day was really fantastic to see.”
A range of activities are being organised by the centre for youngsters during the summer, including badminton, volleyball, dancing and a treasure hunt.
