Air ambulance and paramedics attend after woman seriously assaulted in domestic incident

THE air ambulance and paramedics attended after a woman was seriously assaulted during a domestic incident in Warrington earlier today, Tuesday.

At around 9.40 am today, Tuesday 29 August, police were called to reports of a domestic incident at an address on Phoenix Place, Warrington.

Officers attended and found that a 50-year-old woman had been seriously assaulted.
Paramedics and Air Ambulance were also called to the scene.

Officers remain in attendance at the scene and a police cordon is also in place. No arrests have been made at this time.
