Ideas for keeping kids busy

1

PARENTS who want to avoid their children being bored during the school holidays can get ideas from a free booklet about activities in Warrington.
It features details of activities for children and young people, from dance and drama to skateboarding and swimming.
Warrington Borough Council’s Summer Fun brochure lists events suitable for children and young people from 0-19 (up to 25 for disabled children and young people).
Cllr Kate Hannon, Warrington Borough Council’s executive member for leisure, community and culture, said: “There is a range of activities available this summer, so there will be lots of opportunities to enjoy a hobby or try something new. Enjoy the summer holiday and make the most of what’s on offer.”
The brochure is available from leisure centres, libraries, colleges and youth clubs, by telephoning 01925 443131 or online at www.warrington.gov.uk search summer fun 2011.
