93 per cent happy with education standards

A HUGE 93 per cent of Lymm residents who took part in a questionnaire about community life are happy with standards of education in the village.
This has been revealed by the “Big Conversation” event organised by Lymm and District Churches Together in March.
More than 500 people responded to the questionnaire which posed questions on six main issues: policing, education, local government, The role of the church, local business and volunteering.
This community audit was the precursor to a well received “Question Time” style event where almost 100 members of the public interacted with a panel of local representatives for each of six issues.
Data from the questionnaires has been fully extracted and analysed and the comprehensive results are available on the Lymm Baptist Church web site – www.lymmbaptistchurch.com
Hard copies are also available at Lymm Library or the church itself. The main areas of concern included antisocial behaviour, pot-holes, parking and dog fouling.
But the survey also reveals that Lymm is more community minded than the national average when it comes to volunteering.

  1. I’ll bet Lymm residents are happy with education standards. What about the residents in North East Warrington where schools are being closed? I don’t know how Lymm rewsident Councillor Mrs Sheila Woodyatt sleeps at night!

  2. It was the Lymm residents who were asked the question by the Lymm Churches together group, not the North East Warrington residents. Why try and make something of that? Go to the North East Warrington churches and ask them to do the same thing. I’m sure they are all working just as hard to provide a service to their community.

  3. It’s alright, she is at least fair in her uselessness. She’s also withdrawn the right of pupils at two Lymm primary schools to attend Lymm High – even though they will now have to travel RIGHT PAST Lymm High to get to any of the boroughs other High schools.
