Warrington care company wins St Helens Council contract

WARRINGTON-based Care at Home Group has won the contract to provide domiciliary care services to St Helens residents following a thorough and selective bid process.

St Helens is the latest council to back the ambitious and forward-thinking company that was established in Warrington over 30 years ago and have since expanded to cover Cheshire, Wirral and Warrington.
CEO Karl Jacobie bought the company with a will to transform the home care industry and set a benchmark in quality care following his first-hand experiences of lax and shoddy care in the case of his own mum. He has steadily raised the quality of care levels and standards at Care at Home from bottom up. His belief is that the care level is only as good as the individual team member team and so ensures staff are well rewarded and professionally trained so that they can confidently achieve their mission statement to ‘make their clients smile’.

He is proud to have been selected as the preferred supplier to St Helens residents and explains how he thinks CAHG stood out from the competition: “Carers and healthcare staff do an amazing job and offer a bit of their heart to their clients.  They look after some of the most vulnerable people in our communities and I believe that they deserve recognition for the work that they do.
By raising our game in terms of training, ongoing career support and our innovative rewards package our staff are happier, and that positivity passes on to our clients”.
“My team know that my motto is that we must prepared to go the extra mile to help our clients smile, and if they achieve that every day, we’ve done a good job!”
