THE 1330 (Warrington) Royal Air Force Air Cadets is proudly inviting the public to commemorate the Battle of Britain with a Memorial Service on Sunday, 17th September 2023 at the historic St Elphin’s Parish Church.

This annual event, held to honour the valiant aircrew who defended our skies during the Second World War more than 80 years ago, serves as a poignant reminder of the bravery, determination, and sacrifice that defined our nation in its most trying hours.

The Memorial Service will commence at 3pm, with attendees asked to arrive from 2:30pm to allow for a prompt start. The service will include readings, hymns, and the drumhead ceremony with the laying of the Book of Remembrance to honour those who gave their lives.
1330 (Warrington) Royal Air Force Air Cadets will play a prominent role in the proceedings and offering their own tribute to the veterans of the Battle of Britain. Their involvement symbolises the enduring spirit of service and commitment that characteristics the Royal Air Force and the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.

The cadets warmly encourage everyone to join us on this special day of remembrance. Let’s stand together, pay our respects, and ensure the legacy of the Battle of Britain continues to inspire future generations.
For further details about the event, please visit their Facebook page or contact via [email protected]. They look forward to honouring our heroes alongside you.
