A vehicle blocking a driveway on a residential road in South Warrington was towed away by police earlier today, Friday.

Hatton, Stretton and Walton Police failed in their bid to trace the owner so arranged for the vehicle to be towed away.

Reporting the incident on social media a local officer psoted: “My first job today was to attend a report of a vehicle blocking a driveway preventing the caller from being able to move their vehicle onto the road.
“Attempts were made to contact the keeper of the offending vehicle in person and by phone which proved unsuccessful.
“As a result the vehicle has now been removed from the road.”
