Two more traveller encampments totalling 25 caravans arrive in Warrington

TWO travellers encampments totalling 25 vehicles have arrived in Warrington at The Range car park and Silver Lane Risley.

Both unauthorised encampments arrived in town yesterday, Thursday, with five caravans on The Range car park off Winwick Road, and 20 caravans on Silver Lane, Risley.

Bailiffs are being sent to the privately owned land at The Range and council officers to the site at Risley, which has been frequented by travellers on numerous occasions – despite locked barriers blocking access.
