LATCHFORD Albion suffered a heavy 44-4 defeat at Blackbrook in a game that was frustrating for players and spectators.

The hosts thoroughly deserved the victory, but Latchford were on the receiving end of a high penalty count, exasperated by having three tries disallowed in the first half.
The protests from one on these scores led to a player being dispatched to the sin bin with the hosts taking full advantage by racking up two converted tries with the extra man.
A further sinbinning in the second half saw the same result with the hosts once again exploiting the extra spaces available to them.
Albion’s only score of the game came when Reece Hughes crossed in the left corner.
Latchford have a midweek fixture this week when they host Orrell St.James on Thursday at the ASICS Victoria Park Arena, kick off 7.30pm
