WHAT are your children up to this summer?
There is so much for children and young people to do in Warrington – from dance and drama to skateboarding and swimming, there really is something for everyone.
It’s just where to find it?
Cllr Kate Hannon, the borough council’s executive member for leisure, community and culture, said: “There are a range of activities available this summer, so there will be lots of opportunities to enjoy a hobby or try something new. Enjoy the summer holiday and make the most of what’s on offer.”
The council’s “Summer Fun 2011” brochure has a large variety of activities and events for children and young people aged 0-19 – up to 25 for disabled children and young people.
Residents can get a copy of the summer fun brochure from local nurseries and schools, leisure centres, libraries, colleges and youth clubs or you can phone and ask for one from the Families Information Service on 01925 443131.
The brochure is also available online www.warrington.gov.uk and search for “Summer fun 2011”.
