Police investigating after car found ablaze

POLICE are investigating after a car was found ablaze at Warrington last night.
The fire was in Manchester Road, shortly before 11pm.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to tackle the fire, which was at the side of the road. Police were present to control traffic.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
In another incident, firefighters went to Old Hall Road, Warrington where a quantity of wood chippings had caught fire accidentally. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze.
