POLICE driving on Kingsway North, Warrington, last night, had to swerve, as they were met by a driver who was on the wrong side of the road.
The driver assured officers that he was insured and had been so for months and rang his mum to clarify. She however told officers that he was not insured and never had been.
The male then admitted to knowing he was not insured but had no lift to a Football match…
A ticket was issued and the vehicle was seized and the driver will now be getting more than the three points he set out to gain!
