THE air ambulance was called following a serious collision on Knutsford Road at Latchford involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries but they are not believed to be life threatening.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said :”At 1.40pm on Wednesday 5 July, police were called to reports of man having been hit by a car on Knutsford Road, Latchford.
“The incident involved a purple Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
“Officers attended the scene and found a man had suffered serious injuries to his head, arm, and foot. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
“An air ambulance was also in attendance and the man was taken to hospital.
“Road closures were put in place but have since been lifted.”
