DETECTIVES are appealing to the public in Warrington to help trace the rightful owners of a number of items, including collectable coins, recovered by officers following a stop and check.

The items, which include jewellery, collectable coins, watches and perfume, were recovered following a stop-check last month.

Officers are encouraging the community to share photographs of the jewellery and to get in touch if they believe it could belong to them.

DC David Gerrard of Warrington CID, said:“We are issuing these photos to see if any of the items can be identified by the local community as we would like to reunite them with their rightful owners.”

If you believe this is your jewellery report information to us via the Cheshire Police website quoting IML-1561855 or please contact 101.
