Fire crews called after garden fire spreads to house

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a garden fire that had spread to the doorway of a house at Callands, Warrington.

At 15:41 crews from Penketh and Lymm were called to reports of a fire at a property on Bala Close.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put out a fire involving garden waste that had spread to the doorway of a property.
A large fan was then used to clear smoke. All occupants of the property were accounted for and there were no reports of any injuries.
