POLICE investigations are ongoing following reports of a group of youths on a moped causing anti-social behaviour in the Great Sankey area of Warrington.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses and video footage after receiving four reports of a group of youths riding a yellow moped, causing issues of ASB in the area since Thursday, 15 June.
There have also been reports the group have been involved in a number of thefts.
These included an incident at 6.45pm on Thursday 15 June at Hood Manor Centre where two youths stole a quantity of alcohol.
There were also reports of the group attempting to steal bikes from youths in Dorchester Road at around 5.50pm on Friday 16 June.
One of the alleged incidents was captured on camera by a member of the public and shared on social media.
The investigation in relation to these incidents is ongoing and officers have conducted a number of enquiries, including examining CCTV footage and drone searches.
Sergeant Neil Bradley said: “I understand the concerns this is likely to cause and would like to reassure residents that we are doing all we can to identify those responsible.”
