DETECTIVES have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following an incident near a night club in Warrington town centre.
The incident took place on Sunday 5 March between 6am and 6.45am near to the night club on Friars Gate.
Following the incident, the man was reported to have travelled to the Widnes area.
As part of their investigation, officers have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
Detective Inspector Helen Clegg from Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: “Enquiries in relation to this incident have been ongoing since March and as part of our investigation, we are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as we believe he may hold vital information.
“I would urge anyone who recognises the man to contact the team here at Warrington, so we are able to speak to him.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV images to get in touch so we can progress this investigation.
