POLICE have warned they will be back soon to tackle anti-social behaviour involving off-road biking following a recent Operation Scrambler success in the Poplars & Hulme and Orford areas of the town.
Warrington North Beat team conducted Operation Scrambler with the help of the drone and Scrambler team. On this occasion one Scrambler bike was seized. They also confiscated an E-Scooter, warning “it won’t stop there. The team will be back out soon!”
In a statement to offenders police said: “To the riders of these illegal bikes. Not only are you endangering your lives with this dangerous and selfish behaviour, you are also endangering the lives of others. This needs to stop now!
“We would like to thank the members of the public who recognise the dangers of this behaviour for the information they have and continue to bring forward to us.”
