ANOTHER sinkhole has appeared on a Warrington road for the second time in less than week, while one discovered earlier appears to be sinking again!
A sinkhole was today reported in the carriageway on Sandy Lane at Lymm.
Prior to police arriving at the scene youngsters from Lymm High School were seen waving at motorists approaching the sinkhole to slow down.
It follows on from another sinkhole appearing at Appleton on Red Lane last Wednesday.
Local police have been made aware the recently fixed sinkhole may be sinking again!
It has been sprayed to highlight to road users, especially cyclists of the potential hazard.
Local Cllr Judith Wheeler has made Warrington Borough Council aware of the new issue.
A cyclist was reported to have suffered a broken collar bone after riding over the sinkhole.
