Firefighters respond to multiple calls about shed fire

FIREFIGHTERS responded to multiple calls about a shed fire in a garden at Great Sankey, Warrington, during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).

At 03:37 one crew from Penketh responded to the reports of a fire in the garden of a property on Barrow Hall Lane.

On arrival, firefighters found a shed to be well alight and used a hose reel water jet to extinguish the fire.
Home safety checks were carried out at two neighbouring properties to ensure the fire had not spread.
There were no reports of any injuries.
