  1. You couldn’t make it up. First the council remove the Community Development officer for Latchford West and leave them without support for several years, then they try to say that Latchford West is Westy, they then fail to support the local Forum so as not to upset the local cllrs who didn’t like the “independence” of the Forum, and now they are trying to re-invent the wheel. And what they have failed to grasp is, that Latchford West is made up of 4 areas and that they need to hold meetings in ALL of those areas to reach the people.

  2. After removing the CDO and demolishing the Community Centre WBC are now wanting do it all over again. What a waste of MY money! It’s good to make contact with local residents – a new thing – but the waqy of going about it leaves very much to be desired. Who has “control” of this Budget head and why do the Council seem to be going round in circles. Were local Councillors involved in this process and who was responsible for the earlier decisions? Certainly some investigation required, don’t you think?

  3. I certainly didn’t know about this! I am in the Latchford West ward for voting but don’t live in Latchford postal area, and we never have any communications from anyone about community activities in our part.
