Three fire crews tackle house fire

THREE fire crews were called out to tackle a fire on the second floor of a property at Whittle Hall, Warrington on Thursday morning.

At 08:48 crews from Warrington, Birchwood and Lymm were called to reports of a house fire on Bainbridge Crescent.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus to enter he building and extinguished the fire.
A large fan was used to ventilate the area and all persons were accounted for and there were no reports of any injuries.

In another incident yesterday, at 10:07, one crew from Warrington was called to reports of a fire in the open.
A tree that was smoking next to a motorway was extinguished with water from a back pack by firefighters.
