WARRINGTON-based Kids Planet Day Nurseries has partnered in this year’s Warrington Running Festival to sponsor the ‘Kids 1km’ run.
The Warrington Running Festival 2023 is part of The RunThrough Foundation’s free event initiative taking place on Sunday 24th September in Warrington and Kids Planet is proudly headlining, ‘The Kids Planet – Warrington Running Festival Kids 1km’.
By taking part, Kids Planet is helping raise money for a local charity that works with children and young families in Warrington, Homestart.
Kids Planet’s May wellbeing initiative is ‘Move For May’, and aside from encouraging teams and families from local Warrington nurseries within the group to get involved in the Running festival, there has been a real push for all settings to make small, positive changes and embed more intentional movement into their days.
The nursery group hopes that the free event will inspire hundreds of young runners and families to take on a 1km Kids Planet run and experience the excitement of race day!

With the recent emphasis on physical development and on healthier childhoods, Kids Planet continue to employ Sports Coaches across a growing number of our nurseries, aiming to get children more active and promote sports participation.
