No serious injuries reported following collision which resulted in road closure

UPDATED: POLICE say there were no serious injuries following a collision which resulted in Stockport Road being closed in both directions yesterday afternoon.

The incident took place 2.35pm yesterday Wednesday 17 May when police were called to reports of a collision on Stockport Road, Thelwall.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and found the incident involved two cars, a Honda Jazz and a Land Rover.
“There were no reports of any serious injuries, but one person was taken to Warrington Hospital as a precaution.
“The scene was cleared at around 4 pm.”
