TRIBUTES have been made to father of six “Harry-boy” Morris following his alleged murder at Sankey Valley Park on Saturday.
Mr Morris (pictured right) was described by members of his family who knew him as “Harry Boy” as “a popular person with a larger than life character.”
He lived life to the full and was a keen fisherman and had been for a number of years.
Harry, who was 57, was a warm-hearted family man. He grew up and lived in Dallam for 53 years.
He was married to Jackie for what would have been 13 years next month and has 6 children – 4 girls and 2 boys. He also has grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
Harry was one of nine children and all the family are deeply saddened by this tragic event.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, children and all his family.
Meanwhile a 40-year-old Warrington man charged with the murder of Mr Morris has been remanded in custody and will appear at Chester Crown Court tomorrow, Wednesday.
Anthony Ogburne, whose address was given as Winmarleigh Street, Warrington, appeared yesterday at the town’s magistrates’ court.
He was charged with the murder of Mr Morris at Sankey Valley Park, Warrington on Saturday morning.
