Church service for carers' week

A SPECIAL church service will be held in Warrington to mark National Carers Week next week (June 13 to 19).
The week, which highlights the work of people who provide unpaid care for someone who is ill, frail or disabled, is themed The True Face of Carers.
A range of activities are being organised by Warrington Carers Centre, The Bungalow, Garven Place, and people are invited to call in.
On Monday June 13 there will be a Carers Service at Bold Street Methodist Church at 12.30pm.
An information stall and bag packing event will be organised by the charity on Tuesday 14 at Tesco, Winwick Road. Information and advice will be available to carers between 12 noon and 4pm.
There will be an open day at the carers centre on Friday 17 where help and advice will be available from 10am to 2pm. There will also be a fete with cakes, fruit and vegetables from Long Lane Garden Centre will be on sale.
