A TEAM of barbeque experts will be at Warrington Market today – giving out advice to make sure everyone has healthy and safe barbeques this summer.
The Big BBQ project team are at the market’s health and wellbeing event from 10am to 2pm – and will have a chef demonstrating healthier and safer barbeque tips with tasty samples on offer.
As part of the project, a BBQ pack, is currently being trialled by community groups across Warrington including students from William Beamont School.
The pack, aimed at community groups including schools, scout or guide groups, contains everything need to know on how to make a barbeque healthier and safer. Copies of the pack can be downloaded free of charge from www.tswarrington.co.uk
Anyone having a barbeque this summer should register with the Big BBQ Project and enter a prize draw.

The BBQ pack forms part of the work of Warrington’s Local Food Network, a multi service partnership project aimed at increasing access to local food, involvement in local food initiatives and at reducing health inequalities within the Borough.
