Man hurt in two-vehicle crash

A MAN suffered minor injuries after a car and a lorry collided on Woolston Grange Avenue, Woolston, Warrington.
Fire and rescue crews went to the scene but no-one was trapped so they assisted in making the vehicles safe.
Ambulance crews treated the injured man at the scene.

  1. I am surprised that there are not many more accidents on this road. Occasionally we see the Police with a camera but not at the right time and place. There are some parts of this road that need urgently updating to dual carriageway as envisaged by the New Town Development Corporation when the road was built. There is also a serious question about the speed limit on this road. It needs seriously thinking about increasing the speed limit to 60mph.
