Two men charged with possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply after police stop check

TWO men have been charged with drug supply offences involving heroin and crack cocaine following a stop check in the Bewsey area of Warrington.

At around 10 am yesterday, Wednesday 19 April, officers from Cheshire police stopped a Vauxhall Astra on Troutbeck Avenue.

The occupants of the vehicle, Ryan Murphy and Amir Malik were both arrested at the scene on suspicion of drugs offences.

Malik, 31, of Birchwood Boulevard, Warrington, and Murphy, 26, of Warrington Road, Warrington, have since both been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine). Malik has also been charged with dangerous driving.
Both men have been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court later today, Thursday 20 April.
