WARRINGTON Town FC is on the look out for a new head groundsman to start with immediate effect.
Current groundsman John Barton is standing down as he is leaving the area.
Director Toby Macormac said: “John will be a hard act to follow and we wish him well in the future and he will always be welcomed back as a friend of the club.”
John’s last jobs have included painting the changing rooms and manager’s room for the forthcoming season.
The duties for the successful applicant will include cutting and rolling the pitch and general duties around the ground.
“We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about football and not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in a variety of duties.
“This is a great opportunity to be part of a team which has an exciting future.”
The successful applicant may also have a role in helping run the club’s new all weather pitches which are due for completion in July.
