Sewer repairs will close road

TOWN Hall chiefs at Warrington are to make an order temporarily banning traffic from a road where sewer repairs are to be carried out.
The prohibition of driving order will apply to Briarwood Avenue, Warrington, from its junction with Padgate Lane to its junction with Rosewood Avenue for two weeks from Monday, July 4.
Signs will be in place while the road is closed and an alternative route will involve Ashwood Avenue and Rosewood Avenue.
The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out repairs to a damaged sewer.
