Man charged with operating cannabis farm and abstracting electricity

A 32-year-old man has been charged with operating a cannabis farm and abstracting electricity at a property in Warrington.

On Thursday 13 April officers from Cheshire’s Northern Problem-Solving Team conducted a warrant at an address on Newton Road, Warrington, and discovered a large number of cannabis plants within the property.

Ismen Keca, of Newton Road, Warrington, was subsequently charged with the production of a controlled Class B drug (cannabis) and abstracting electricity.

He was remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 12 May.
