Fire at plastics factory

FIRE crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled a blaze at a Warrington factory last night.
The blaze was at Perrite Plastics, Kingsland Grange, Woolston and involved an extractor fan in the main building.
Firefighters entered the smoke-filled building and used a hosereel jet to extinguish the blaze and a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the building.
No-one was hurt.
