Residents at Cheshire Grange enjoyed an eggs-tensive range of Easter activities, from decorating Easter cookies to reflecting on the Easter story and what it means to them, residents enjoyed some fun Easter games too, the Rabbit Hoopla was especially popular. Residents also tucked into delicious Easter treats at mealtimes, including a chocolate hot cross bun pudding, a roast turkey lunch, and a delicious buffet spread, prepared by the home’s head chef Mandy.

General Manager, Dawn Holsgrove-Smith said “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter. It’s such a lovely time of year – the residents love all the colourful Easter eggs and the visit from The Easter Bunny, whose identity intrigues them, we are also mindful of residents’ individual spiritual and cultural beliefs of Easter and recognise that element too. It’s really been an eggs-cellent few days!”

The Easter Bunny thanked everyone for making the visit to Cheshire Grange so much fun and they enjoyed meeting all the lovely residents and their families and especially enjoyed the Whats App call with resident Margriths three year old grandson.

A varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
