Police issue CCTV image following assault in Warrington town centre

OFFICERS appealing for information following an assault in Warrington town centre where a man received serious facial injuries, have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Sometime between 2am and 2.30am on Monday 27 February, police were called to reports that a 21-year-old man had been assaulted by an unknown man on Bridge Street, Warrington.
The victim sustained significant facial injuries and went to hospital for further checks.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and as part of the investigation, officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
Police Constable Sam Horton said: “Understandably, the victim was extremely shaken up as a result of the incident.
“This investigation is ongoing and as part of our enquiries we are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV image as we believe he may have vital information.
“If you think you recognise the men or have information regarding their identity please come forward. I would also like to appeal directly to the men in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
